Well after all of the cordless rotary hammer talk in the other thread, I decided the Hilti TE 4-A18 would be the one I would get if I ever decided to move on from the DeWalt 20v that I have.
Got looking around on eBay and found a deal I couldn’t pass up. A little nerve racking buying one without ever having used one or put hands on one, but everything I’ve read pretty much describes it as easily being the one to beat when it comes to cordless SDS rotary hammers.
Seller’s photos are attached.
Awesome score Yank! I’m jealous!
I knew you were gonna do it 🙂
So did my wife lol
Wow! That thing looks like a beast in the case!!! Keep us updated on how it does!
Their amazing, nice tool!!
Hrmm, now your making me want a cordless SDS drill and that’s probably the tool I need the least!
Great find. Keep us posted on how you like it.
That’s nice, how much cheaper was it on eBay?
I think that’s what the Under Miner used on the Incredibles! That thing looks like it’ll chomp through concrete without a fuss.

Got it for just shy of $450 including shipping.

lol….we shall see….
450 is not a bad deal at all!!!!
That thing is a beast. When it comes to concrete, Hilti all the way. Very nice find.
I tried to find videos on it, but couldn’t locate anything. Have you guys reviewed this one, Eric?
Nice! Hope that works good for you!
Nice, does anyone know why they stopped selling hilti at home depot?
They still sell Hilti online through HomeDepot.com. They never really came out and said why Hilti ended up pulling out of the stores. Like everything it probably came down to money and one side wanted more and they wouldn’t budge. This also was going down when new construction was pretty slow too.
