Yep, I have the same set, plus the 3/8″ SAE ‘Master’ set. I need to pick up the metrics fairly soon, I guess. Though the F150 doesn’t break much and the CJ7 is mostly inch.
I’m going to go with Sunex for triple square sockets.
I have a huge Mac Torx set that covers up to T60 and includes E Torx and Security Torx as well. Even has E Torx DBE wrenches. Must be 50 pieces or so.
It goes for around $250 on the truck, but I got it on FeeBay for a fucking unbelievable $75 shipped and I’m not sure it had ever been used.
I see the same set on there all the time go for $125-$150. That’s still a bargain versus buying individual sets if you use Torx a lot.

If I cut a lot of 3/4″ ply I think I’d prefer a track saw. That 3/4″ is like wrestling a bear a lot of times.
My Dewalt track saw is worth it’s wait in gold.
Dewalt 20v radio, the roll cage broke on my 18v version so its a home radio now. Im looking pretty hard at a stick welder for my house, probably a Hobart stickmate. Id love to get a table saw, but I m not in a rush for that.
Just got my Festool MFT/3 Table!! Freakin’ awesome!!!! I haven’t even finished putting it together yet, super stoked.

Very nice. I was thinking of getting one then I found this. I going to stat on it in a few weeks.
Awesome find Regopit. I’ve been looking for a good, mobile work bench. Thanks for the share.
I’ve started with some 20v stuff already planning on adding some m12 stuff shortly
Cool find Regopit. I watched the video earlier, it looks like a really sweet set up. Are you going to post pics?

Did you buy it?
Just bought myself the Hilti TE4-22A brilliant in a word, also just started using my new peli tool case which is standing up to quite a lot of abuse right now. Next on the hit list is a new vcu 40 Hilti vac my old one is looking a little tired and has lost its lustre lol.
I wish, actually I was trying to show abimarssani the kind of deals he could find if he tried craigslist. I should have worded it betterConductor562 wrote:

I’m gonna take a wild guess here and assume shipping would be a lot for abimarssani 😆
Considering I’m a newbie tool user, but mechanically inclined, my wife decided to get into wood working as a hobby which meant I would get into wood working as a hobby. That being said, I’ve recently acquired a Bosch GCM 12SD miter saw, Black and Decker 5″ orbital sander, Kreg Jig K4 Pocket hole system and JackClamp system. All were reasonably priced items but I can’t say the same for the Bosch GCM 12SD that was a break the bank purchase…but after using it, it was well worth it. I’m not quite done with some purchases for the year, but for the projects we want to get done they are all we’ll need.
Ups stopped by Monday. Still one box Short.

Is there anything better than new tools coming in the mail?
Watch out Reopit you might receive a middle of the night Chrisk visit. Chris won’t steal anything he just wants to caress the virginal Festool Tools for a little while when your are asleep for the night.

He’ll slink in all metro-Bavarian wearing his woodworking apron, work capris, and crocs.
Nightmares are made of these things.

Sorry Chris I could not help myself.
Haha that is funny!
Awesome. Just freakin’ awesome. Seriously what the heck is Bosch thinking???? I’m giving up hope in their company. Maybe I’ll go Ryobi after all 🙁
Now that I think on it….I definitely have the calves to pull it off
Just got this over the weekend
Always wanted a riding lawnmower just don’t have a yard big enough to justify one at all. A reel mower would probably be enough.
I wouldn’t mind getting one of those with a snow blower attachment. But my .13 of an acre couldn’t justify the mower 🙁

I am also finding the tool and conduct the idea.

got a nice deal on them buy 1 get 1 free 😛
I find that the best gifts are the ones I pick out myself.
I really need to get some more M18 tools. All I have now is just the non-Fuel drill-driver.

That’s the start of a nice collection!
I bought a ridgid 6 1/2 in corded circular saw. I bought because it’s more practical for my week day job over my skil saw worm drive. It seems a little fragile to me, but I was cutting nominal 2×4’s all day with it and it’s very smooth. The blade that came with it is garbage though
I’ve owned the Makita LAXT and the Milwaukee M18 versions (both brushed) and was happy with both of them, they went through batteries pretty quickly but a blade change and the tools were really quite awesome.
I’m holding out on a cordless circular saw until bosch makes a brushless one. Hopefully they pick up the pace
Got a dewalt Dcf895 brushless impact driver on the way..cant wait

I plan on buying the new klein insulated set just because…lol.. just waiting for them to add the crimping pliers to the line up…
I want a new set of super rods for fishing cables. Can’t live without them :).
I’ve got the Bosch CLPK250-181L 18v brushless 2-Tool Kit with Hammer Drill/Driver Socket Ready Impact Driver on my wish list. Purchased the Bosch JS572E jigsaw, RH228VC rotary hammer, and 1677M wormy. Though I like my old 18v Dewalt tools, I have to switch from NiCad and those Bosch brushless look like a good way to go.
Just got the Festool TI15 impactor. Ssssssweeeeeeeeet 🙂
Congratulations ChrisK! Very nice. Another Fes add to the tool family. I’m jealous of you and all the Festool guys!

Man, you guys are bad for my pocket book! I think I’m going to have to pickup some Festool additions to my arsenal. Every time someone post about buying something from them I get closer to making the plunge….
Congrats ChrisK.

Do it Mus-tange. do it….get into da choppa 🙂
I gotta stop saying that but c’mon! If you wanna live Mus-tange….git into da choppa
If you do I would highly recommend the TS55REQ saw with the rails. Then….well…your wallet will never look the same but you will never, ever, ever question your purchase when you use it for the first, or second, or fiftieth time. If you can swing that then get the vac system too. I have the Midi and it is awesome. Then get the MFT/3…then get the….$$$$$$$$
That’s flipping funny right there! To tell you the truth the TS55 is what’s really on my mind. That thing is awesome!!
Thanks for the laughs man. I worked the past three weeks with no days off 12-14 hours a day. Three different projects in two different states and today I come home to sick wife and daughter.
Not complaining that’s what men do.
The TS 55 REQ is the way to go. You will never look back. Some people look at these tool as a Trophy for their tool collection but these tools are made to be used and to make the job easy and go faster. once you start to use Festool tools you will see what Chris and I are talking about.
Festool are the way to go, I’m an electrician and even I’ve got the saw and rail, though sure some of you cabinet makers would cringe at what I do with it lol
Nice thing is they take the abuse!!
Stop guys. Too much teasing about the Festool track saw. Can’t take it.
Next your going to post centerfold pictures. Long & lean (track), Silky smooth (edges), can easily be turned on (with the switch).
Whoa whoa whoa Harold. Wait till I travel back in time and get Jaqueline Bissett from “The Deep” wet t shirt and all to model it for ya. You’ll get one then!!!!!!!!
