Milwaukee is having their new m12 on pact driver kit on sale for 79.99 at Home Depot. It is the brushed version with two batteries as well.

JavierMember since Aug 2013

Cool. I’m getting one today. This is a bare tool price for a 2 battery kit

NicholasShetleyMember since Nov 2013

It is dirt cheap and it is the updated version as well.

Harold WrayMember since Jun 2013

Man that’s a good deal.

JavierMember since Aug 2013

BOOM!

Paid $58 including tax

NicholasShetleyMember since Nov 2013

How did you pay 58?

JavierMember since Aug 2013

After trying to get 2 home depots to accept a harbor freight 25% off coupon and failing, they said I could get $25 off my purchase if I signed up for a credit card so I did

It was irritating because I have successfully used that harbor freight coupon before but it seems every hd is different

NicholasShetleyMember since Nov 2013

I would have bought them out and then sold the rest on eBay.

JavierMember since Aug 2013

Im sure theres money to be made on a deal like this if someone buys these to resell, probably get the most if sold the items separately

NicholasShetleyMember since Nov 2013

What is the regular price 129.99?

DR99Member since Nov 2012

Home Depot has been dropping the price regularly on this. They must have 10’s of thousands in inventory to sell. Its just worth it for the batteries if you needed some.

NicholasShetleyMember since Nov 2013

The drill and impact were on sale for 99 recently.

JavierMember since Aug 2013

I think the price was $130 before they dropped it to $99. It’s hard to tell if $99 is the new price or holiday pricing. What makes it more confusing is that home depot shows the $79 price as “new low price” but it’s not considered on special or on sale

I’ve seen a lot of the HDs black friday specials on ebay already. The Screwdriver/Impact combo that was $99 is trying to be sold for around $130 I think I saw.

I never accept a Harbor Freight Coupon, we accept Lowes and Menards promos without blinking an eye. I would just tell you can not get a similar product at Harbor Freight than you can get at HD, Lowes, or heck in most cases Menards.

Yes the regular price is $129.99, most stores did not carry this as a “Core” or regular item, it was brought in just for the gift centers.

That was the Screwdriver and Impact, the Drill/Driver and Impact has been holding firm at about $159

NicholasShetleyMember since Nov 2013

I meant as seperate kits.

Harold WrayMember since Jun 2013

Wow. Great deal!! You worked for it. Early Christmas present to yourself. 🙂

Harold WrayMember since Jun 2013

I agree with DR, it’s worth it for just the batteries.

JavierMember since Aug 2013

The grip on the impact is improved. Some improvements from the fuel models have made their way to the updated brushed tools

ChrisKMember since Dec 2012

Javier, are the batteries 1.5ah or 2.0 ah?

NicholasShetleyMember since Nov 2013

They are 1.5

ChrisKMember since Dec 2012

Okie dokie! Thanks Nicholas

NicholasShetleyMember since Nov 2013

No problem. All of the updated brushed tool kits still have the 1.5 ah batteries

ChrisKMember since Dec 2012

Now that’s good to know, I was not aware of that. I was hoping they’d phase them out and just do 2.0 and 4.0

JavierMember since Aug 2013

1+ what NicholasShetley said. So far only the m12 fuel tools have the bigger 2.0 and 4.0 batteries

I wish it came with 2 2.0 batteries. That would have been an insane deal for $79

NicholasShetleyMember since Nov 2013

It is the same for the new m18 kits as well

NicholasShetleyMember since Nov 2013

I think I will get one for my other grandpa for Christmas. He does a lot of appliance repair and woodworking so it should come in handy

JavierMember since Aug 2013

I wasn’t sure of the m18 kits if only the fuel had the newer batteries since I haven’t seen any non fuel kits with xc batteries at my home depots.

That’s great you’re getting one for your gramps. What about the fuel impact since it has a low speed for delicate work

NicholasShetleyMember since Nov 2013

I don’t think he would use that much or forget it had it. Currently he has a craftsman c3 drill and it is huge. This is way lighter and smaller so that should help him a lot.

JavierMember since Aug 2013

That’s a good point and also the fuel tools are expensive

NicholasShetleyMember since Nov 2013

He doesn’t need the extra frills

DR99Member since Nov 2012

Also the fuel tools are kinda on the large size for a 12v tool.

ChrisKMember since Dec 2012

DR99 I’d agree with the size of the M12 tool being large for the sub 18v but they are still compact when compared to the 18v and the power is really impressive. My new drill is pretty big but still smaller than the full size. Really a good size for cabinet work and I have really been enjoying the size when using my Kreg Jig.

NicholasShetleyMember since Nov 2013

It is still on sale. My mom said that my grandpa didn’t need a new one. I still think that he would have appreciated it seeing that his only drill is a huge craftsman cordless drill. I wound up buying me an 11 amp milwaukee angle grinder and a few of the diablo flap wheels.

JavierMember since Aug 2013

I like the size of the m12 fuel impact, it strikes the right balance of size and power.

NicholasShetleyMember since Nov 2013

I liked it too. The grip appeared the same on the new m12 impact to me. I like the grip on the m18 fuel tools as well.
