I found these HCS brad point saw drill bits on Amazon Japan. The idea is great but there are few problems:
1) The hex shank is a Japanese hex shank not Western hex shank.
2) They should have been made with HSS not HCS
3) They are not made of one piece metal and they are plugged.
Snappy makes HSS one which is one piece construction but only in one size and not brad point.
