I am not happy with the quality of US made DeWALT Impact holesaw bits at all.
1) The quality of welding is rubbish as you can see in photos.
2) They are not properly round in most cases as they have been made of sheet metal.
3) It looks like they have kind of cracks on the side as a result of bad quality welding and does not seem too safe to me.
I have circled the problems in white.
There is a British brand called Armeg, they make absolutely round ones as the bits are made of tube metal instead of sheet metal.
These are the roundest I have selected.
The Armeg ones could be even forged as one piece. Very well machined.
So not everything made in US is always quality.
