The deeper I plunge the more off the blade gets. At 1mm it’s 90°. By the time it’s at 40mm it’s at 89° and rubs harder against the splinter guard. Any one with this issue figure out what to do?

Have you checked the shoe where the saw rests at full plunge or the actual plunging mechanism for being in square?
