Just bought a Milwaukee 2494-22 m12 impact driver and drill set. When you put the charged battery in either tool, the LED light goes on and will not turn off, whether or not the trigger is depressed.
Can’t believe nobody responded to this. I also bought a 12v Milwaukee impact driver. Model number 3453–20. After nine months, the LEDs stopped shutting off. I sent it in for warranty work. These things have a five year warranty. They sent it back: replaced the gears. But the LEDs still don’t shut off. They are replacing the whole unit.
Weird that no one has responded and weird they are having issues with the light. Which I had some insight on tis but haven’t heard of the issue or the fix.
