Just put my order in for the sawzall and circular saw they should be in around the end of October hopefully sooner.
I really neglected cordless tools (and power tools as a whole really) in my latest buying spree. I did buy the 11 amp Milwaukee grinder and a Makita 5″ orbital sander. I had an unsatisfactory experience with a Milwaukee sander and have stuck with Makita sanders since.
Haven’t heard too many good things about the Milwaukee sanders, but I have heard nothing bad about Bosch sanders though.
I wouldn’t have minded a Bosch sander, but my HD carried Makita so I went with them. I like them a lot. I don’t mind Makita electric tools, but I don’t buy into their cordless line.
It’s hard to know what your local stores are going to carry they might have that brand but not any sanders by that brand. That’s why I like to purchase online you can research the best tool and the best deal. The only thing is if you need a tool right away your kinda screwed on what you can buy locally. Yea I was surprised how well liked the Bosh sanders were they were put up right near Festool quality and dust collection at a much lower cost.
I purchase online 95% of the time, but in both cases I needed the sanders that day.
Makita sander are great !!!
I’m just surprised Makita sent the guys some new tools. I don’t think they were happy after one was smoked and then sawed in 1/2.
