Lubricant for Metabo Pneumatic Tools

Hi,

I bought their 18 gauge brad nailer at Lowes. For lubricant it says, “Use metabo HPT pneumatic tool lubricant.” I don’t believe for a solitary microsecond that they spent money for lab to to develop a proprietary lubricant. Does anyone know what it is really? Can I just use mineral oil like any other pneumatic tool?

Don’t quote me, but I am pretty sure you can use any lubricant that is rated for pneumatic nailers. I think Paslode says the same thing about using their lub.
