I just took my new bench grinder out of its box. Before assembling it I gave it a spin and notice how “wobbly” the fine grain stone is. It almost seems to vacillate the location of the grinding surface. I’m reluctant to even turn it on and give speed to what I can see w/the naked eye and a spin by hand. Should I be worried? Return it ? Fixable? Suggestions welcome.
It shouldn’t wobble at all. I have a cheap no name bench grinder and it’s extremely smooth. I would double check the ends and make sure the wheels are secure.
