Hi, I am currently re-designing a belt sander for a big company, and one feature that I am working on is the adjustable handle. It is not very popular but I thought it can be useful when sanding vertical surfaces. As users of belt sanders, what is your opinion on adjustable handles? Any information would be of great help (sadly due to the COVID-19 I can’t go out to ask people so this is all I have for now)
Can yo provide a diagram or example of what you have in mind? Having trouble visualizing it.

I took it as the handle rotates so that when you want to do a vertical sand the handle is in the same position as if you were sanding a horizontal surface. @felice20 is this what you meant?
