Hi, I have a couple Sears Reciprocating saws, 2 different generations. Am wondering if anyone has any suggestions for parts that are no longer available.
Here are the 2 saws & what is needed, one mine & the other a sons:
Sears model 315.171020 – needs a trigger switch
Sears model 172.26770 – needs a reciprocating rod
The first item (switch) is shot. The second item broke off out at end, the rod being made of pot metal.

Wow, it might be easier to buy another tool. It is almost impossible to find those parts now, like trigger switch. You might check on Ebay https://www.ebay.com/p/1201534395 if you really want this model.
