We have one. It’s slower but you can use it one handed. It’s a lot lighter. The vibration level is much better. And it can get into really tight spots. The only thing I know of smaller is those little pneumatic reciprocating saws but you need to lug around the compressor and air hose and oil to feed them. So unless you are doing demolition all day or trying to go through say 1/8” steel where the extra power and speed count, it beats the bigger one hands down. I think the Milwaukee non-Fuel one compromises a bit too much and then again their super Sawzall trumps everyone in the speed/power category but in the Dewalt line in my mind I think the smaller one is a better choice overall. I would put it up against the “standard” big red as an even match and it beats the mini but not the super.
The Multivolt recip is quite good. I can’t remember what the Multivolt vs Super Sawzall outcome was but it wasn’t far off.
Looks nice and compact. I liked the the original m18 hackzall and was excited when the fuel hackzall was released but the fuel version is kind of big.

To the guys that have these, what’s you’re opinion of them. I was pretty excited to get one but after seeing a couple reviews on youtube they seem like another atomic dud. The more atomic stuff they release the more pointless the whole line seems.
Semi useful.
Seems it would be great for cutting PVC or other lightweight stuff.
I used it to snip nails behind corner boards on a house As I pried them off with a cats paw.
Easy to use one-handed.
Good tool to use to teach my kids to use power tools.
No way I would buy the 12 V tool, no need for another platform.
I do like the belt hook. For the same reason I like it on the atomic circular saw:
The Small size of the tools with the hooks make it more convenient as I work on ladders and can’t hang onto a tool without a hook.
