M28 battey on a V28 drill? | Tools In Action

Hi all.

I have a Milwaukee Drill V28PD and a V1828C charger. Will I be able to charge and use a 5AH M28 red lithium ion battery, or it is not compatible with that drill and charger?

As far as i know: V28 batteries and M28 batteries have diffrent mount. They are not compatible

V18s could be mounted to M18 tools by just shaving off one little bit of plastic which would stop it from mounting. Used them for years this way without any issues. Maybe you can do the same with the 28s?
