I knew if you hung around here long enough you’d come around ๐Ÿ˜† Great video Chase. I think it’s your best one yet. The M18 XC’s have a 3 year warranty. The compacts are 2 years.

ย

I have a MacBook Pro as well. Why are the keys yellow? I love mine. I’ll never buy a Windows computer again. Eric and Dan use Mac’s too. I know Dan does, I think Eric does as well.ย

Thanks! And Wow 3 years, i wonder why its not the same for all of them…Its a cover for dust mainly and If i still something on there it will help protect the keys..

That was a great video Chase! Like I said on YouTube Dan and Eric should hire you! You has all the details, put it through its passes. Even had a experience of how it did. You are D’Man!!!

firefighter4187Member since Mar 2013

Haha Thanks Harold!

DR99Member since Nov 2012

Only problem is the number of people using Mac books around here.

Harold WrayMember since Jun 2013

Chase, I watched your review again. That fuel is like a weapon on the second speed.

firefighter4187Member since Mar 2013

Yeah You can say that again!! I will have a video up soon drilling through some pavers.

Harold WrayMember since Jun 2013

Thanks for the follow up video. It goes through it like butter. I just read your reply on YouTube, thanks. I have the older version

That why I was asking what speed you recommend. I only put in 2nd speed once.

Mine did not come with a handle. Do you think it’s worth buying one?

But I’ll tell you that fuel looks so much better then mine. And two batteries.

Thank you.

firefighter4187Member since Mar 2013

Harold, Are you asking me if its worth it to buy the handle or the fuel drill?

Harold WrayMember since Jun 2013

Sorry I didn’t clarify. Would you recommend buying just the handle for my older model?

firefighter4187Member since Mar 2013

Hmmm Do you know the peak torque on your drill?

Harold WrayMember since Jun 2013

Then I was saying how cool yours is. Sorry for for the confusion.

firefighter4187Member since Mar 2013

Also do you have the compact or xc batterys?

firefighter4187Member since Mar 2013

How long before you plan on upgrading?

Harold WrayMember since Jun 2013

Probably not for a while. ๐Ÿ™ Mine is ok. Works well. I’m thankful. Just when you see the latest and greatest like yours I start drooling.

firefighter4187Member since Mar 2013

I would say get a side handle. Its great when in hammer mode and when drilling thought rough material.

wayneburgessMember since May 2012

Well done Chase, keep up the good work these videos are very good. ๐Ÿ™‚

firefighter4187Member since Mar 2013

The Red Lithiums do very well in cold weather. Part of they’re product demonstration is freezing them and then putting them in the tool (which fires right up).ย

The new Bosch coolpack batteries work in very cold weather I tested them out in our winter with 15 foot snow drifts and wind chill that kills and they worked fine. ย ๐Ÿ™‚

JethMember since Jun 2013

Im happy to ear that

wayneburgessMember since May 2012

I think Bosch have genuine reasons to be very proud of the 18v line because the batteries are just class.

I have pasted the two drills I have and they are running in horrible weather and recently hot too which came as a shock in the north of Britain LOL ย ๐Ÿ™‚

So temperature is not too big of a problem, and it sounds like a sales pitch but you know what I can’t fault them at all and that is saying something as a guy who has been using power tools for over 35 years on job sites.

Conductor562Member since Nov 2011

Some tools you just can’t say anything bad about.

firefighter4187Member since Mar 2013

When are you heading to jacksonville?

Conductor562Member since Nov 2011

I’ll be there on December 9th, but I’ll come in, do my thing, and be out the same day.

I’ll be back down in February and should have a few days to meet up if you want.
