Isn’t like Bosch to put out a sub-par product like that. Nice video. You ran that spade bit through 2X’s with it yet?
Thanks and what are you asking about the spade bit?
Great video
Thanks Eric!

Have you used the new drill to make a hole in 2X lumber using a spade bit?
No not yet, would that be a good test for it?

Running a spade bit through 2X is a pretty hefty task, so I would say so.
I will try today with a 3/4
I used a 3/4 spade with the battery gauge showing half full on a 3×3. I was on 2 speed and got through 3/4’s of the way before the electronics kicked in, i then kicked into 1 speed and finished the hole, I did 7 of those before the battery was dead. What do you think?
That’s pretty good for a 12V tool. While it’s nothing compared to a big drill, at least you know it will do it in a pinch.
I realy like your vid chase !
Thanks!
Great Video ….

Nice one Chase very Pro. 🙂
I hate how the Bosch grip is flatter on the front. Feels odd, but maybe that’s just me.
At first the grip feels odd but i got use to it and now a like it !
I can not stand the chuck on this thing! It is like a homeowner drill when compared to the M12…
I didint like the ps31 chuck i’m so use to ratcheting chuck thats why a got the ps21 1/4 inch hex chuck and so for no problème and i’m using it more and more
The ps31 has to much wobble imo…
Seems to be a big problem with the ps31 a lot of reviews are saying that wobble, wobble, wobble ! But at least you have an l-boxx . You sould contact Bosch
Yeah i am not real happy with Bosch right now….i emailed them and they basically told me that i caused the chuck to wobble….so its not covered under warranty..

How nice of them 😡
WTF! They told you that YOU caused the wobble? What, just by using it. BS. You want to get back at them? Do a video showing how it wobbles on YouTube and put in the title something like Bosch Drill Wobble.

Hahaha I guess they didnt like that I was drilling spade bits with it….
Funny. Bosch sells those different spade bits. Do their spade bits have a warning on them “Not for use on Bosch tools”.

Lol Luckily I sold it a couple of weeks ago, I kept the Lbox and sold the drill, charger and 2 batteries for more than what I bout the whole kit, I am going to use that money on an M12.
That’s great! So what M12 are you planning on buying? I just got this M12 Fuel Impact Driver! It’s Sweeeeeeeeeet.

Harold!!!! Thats great! Welcome to the FUEL family, this may be my next tool depending on how you like it!, When you recover from this buy, you have to get the M12 fuel Hammer drill, its a beast! Now we need to get Conductor to stop buying hand tools and buy some fuel haha 🙂
Hanging out on these tool blogs and forums will cause you to buy a lot of tools that you otherwise wouldn’t have.
I love a tool deal where you can sell something you don’t need that’s included and you can walk away with either some extra cash or reduce your purchase price. The only thing that pisses me off is who much bosch wants for their L-boxx pick and pluck foam 25 bucks for one piece that’s insane.

25? That is crazy!
Funny Conductor. Funny Chase. Conductor has to stop trying to corner the hand tool market and get filled up on FUEL. Your right Chase I forgot this is my only FUEL. And that is why i bought it (duh). I’m loving it so far. I didn’t expect this much power in such a small drill. When the impact hammer kicks in it starts pounding and some sound. Bam bam bam. Maybe I’ll do a video sometime.
Can you get generic foam inserts? Ones you could use for the lboxx or toughbox or whatever.

Yea, there was a thread on it about a month ago. Can’t remember what section it was in though.

That M12 has more power than the Makita 18v

You would have to cut them to size to fit the box.

Yeah I started it, I think it was in hand tools.
