Got a photo of the 3/8 impact ?
info says “available in June2019”
let´s see how reliable this is !
The impact doesn’t look THAT much smaller than the 20/18v. I do find myself in need of a tiny drill sometimes though, and I find the right angle drill to be unwieldy. I hope that chuck isn’t plastic…

I dunno that drill looks pretty compact to me. Those 12V batteries are a decent bit smaller than 18V.
I think they’re something to be excited about. Obviously they have to start somewhere with the re-launch but hopefully they actually expand the line in time and its not limited to new versions of thier existing 12v tools. After leaving the line for so long I would think it’ll be hard to gain trust in it. Personally I like the makita approach of sub compact 18v tools and think dewalt has some of these in the pipeline too.
A compact 12V oscillating multi tool of the same design as the 20V would be great.
I’d buy into the 12v line if dewalt actually makes a line this time…I’m hopeful..
