Sometimes we have to do jobs in the dark, what’s your favorite flashlight?

wayneburgessMember since May 2012

Big Dewalt aluminium l.e.d is my life saver when others are broken it just works 🙂

FerTheHandymanMember since Feb 2013

I like my Dewalt gooseneck flashlight. Specially when doing plumbing in cabinets.

Eric – TIAMember since Jan 2010

One that works. I like my Milwaukee, but the 12v Dewalt is also nice

firefighter4187Member since Mar 2013

Yeah i wish the 20v version was like the 12v.

I use my M18 light some. Most of the time I use my Railroad Lantern though.

Conductor, do you know where Hurricane, WV is?

FerTheHandymanMember since Feb 2013

That’s really cool must make the battery last a lot longer but it cost as much as the light.  I think I’ll pass for now. Thanks for the link though.

Yea, it’s about 15 minutes from me in the same County. Are you familiar with Hurricane?

firefighter4187Member since Mar 2013

Yeah that is where my mom’s family lives now. She was born in a town called Man.

Conductor562Member since Nov 2011

I know where Man is as well, coal country. Go through Man on occasion for work. Go through Hurricane everyday.

Conductor562Member since Nov 2011

I live in a little town called Buffalo.

Railroad Lantern, that sounds awesome. I have to go look that up

Conductor562Member since Nov 2011

Looks like this:

That light is awesome. Can consumers buy that or is that just issued to people who work for the railways? Does it do a good job lighting the area up

Conductor562Member since Nov 2011

It has 2 settings. 1 is a spot light and the other is a walking light which does a better job of lighting an area. The handle swivels allowing you to position it in a bunch of positions. You can also hang it on things including your arm. It’s really versatile.

Hey guys! I use my M18 all the time as well as Stanley’s little three legged led light. And then of course my Mag light (rechargeable). Nice thing about the Mag, you can focus the beam but it gets wicked hot. Also, in the event that Al-Queda pops up with their stupid rags on…wakka chakka bakka fah-shooooo! Instead weapon!!!!!!!

firefighter4187Member since Mar 2013

That’s very cool!
