DeWalt service center is offering 2 nine amp hour batteries when you turn in 2old batteries for 199.99
Thank me later
I was able t buy a 9.0 Battery and fast charger for $159…… this deal does seem interesting but knowing most retail employees…..I will need some sort of document or flyer that spells out the deal that they can then give to their supervisor and then I can then explain it to him prior to him calling corporate before he understands the promo

Dewalt Service Center its right there in the 2018 Deal Catelog no need for supervisor or corporate it is offered to anyone who brings in 2 batteries they don’t even have to be Dewalt .
That’s a good deal, Amazon and acme run a 2/199$ 9ah deal at holidays…I don’t even have old dead batteries
….
So i can bring in the 2 cheapest batteries I can find and get a 9.0 in exchange?

That will work just fine ANY POWER TOOL BATTERY
Online only or in store?
Can the catalog be found online somewhere? I just realized that we have one in Houston 15 minutes from me. Not knowing was probably a good thing considering I’d spend most of my free time there.

Not sure if that’s more or less painful than having one 15 minute from your house and likely not having the same promo because why would Canada have good promos lol. That said I’m going to go check it out likely Friday.

Yeah, Canada does not seem to have the same caliber of deal we have. I figure 3-1/2 hours each way….if I take the Mustang, 25mpg…plus sales tax. No thanks. I’d take the Tundra but 14.7….yeesh!!! I’m buying a chainsaw next month and I have not determined the Dewalt or the new Milwaukee. Both come with high cap batteries so regardless I’ll be all set with LI batteries 👍
I hear you @ChrisK, the Fuel chainsaw is very intriguing. The FlexVolt uses a lot of bar oil from what I’ve seen but I’m undecided myself. A chainsaw isn’t a real need for me so I’m in no rush.
I’ve got 9ah fever I’m going back for 2 more in a couple days
I’m up to 5 9.0s which is plenty for me; a pair of 12.0s are my goal for summer lol.
Ya I’m loading up on 12ah..I have too many 9ah…wish it was. 12ah deal….
Is this legit? Tried searching around for info but I can’t seem to find even a whisper about the trade in offer. Was that flyer in a service center?

Yes I’m not here to prove it to you but this IS LEGIT.
No worries, like another poster, the nearest service center is a bit of a hike but I’ll take your word for it and make the trip

I’m driving through Spokane tomorrow morning so thought I’d drop by the service center there. Although I’m undecided on buying more batteries right now, my curiousity is peaked and it’s easier to just see for myself what the service centers offer as opposed to peppering dude with questions here. The elusive planer bag is available cheaply and there are a couple other knick knacks I’d like to have, such as the DCB091 and of course more chuck springs (always moar cowbell).
UPDATE
service center guy said the battery promo was suspended due to a lithium shortage. I honestly think he fed me a line of crap, but more than anything else I’m amused this story keeps getting weirder.
162 amp hour.
You can def by tools at service centers I did in Spokane, just unsure why he told me the promo was suspended… his answer was stupid fishy

Yes very fishy. If you got that on video he wouldn’t have a job right now ! Lithium Shortage that’s a joke. I’m pissed off for you that’s bullshit
