Ryobi has another vacuum on the market
- 3 gallon dry capacity
- Wet and dry cleaning capability
- 6 ft. x 1-1/4 in. extendable hose with transparent design for optimum visibility
- Pivoting air inlet port for easy hose management
- Utility nozzle and hose convert exhaust port into directional blower
- Flat top design for convenient stacking and storage
- Convenient on-board storage for hose and accessories
- Includes washable reusable filter
I may have a serious look at this. At my DIY scale of things I would hope as long as it functions reasonably well I don’t need to spend top-dollar on a prosumer-caliber unit.
Goddamn it Ryobi!!!
This is exactly the kind of stuff that makes me consider having a second platform. Why must you torment me!

Agree Hilti if another platform is in my future it could be Ryobi. I have 2 now, The Red & Yellow, but Ryobi continues to add innovations to their lineup, while also offering budget-priced near pro-quality tools, but a 3rd battery charger set-up is holding me back.
I tend to think Ryobi is the best 2nd-platform to have among DIY types. Anything your manufacturer of choice doesn’t have, chances are Ryobi has something for you. Also good for things you don’t do regularly so you don’t need it to take heavy abuse on a daily basis year after year.
