Hey guys, so I just bought the dewalt 20v brushless sawzall. I really like the weight and power on this little monster. However, this thing is LOUD. I’m talking like screeching loud at around 77-80 decibles. I have the makita brushless sawzall and it sounds nothing like it. I was wondering if this is normal for this sawzall or maybe something is wrong with it. Thanks!
Use Earplugs
Turn up Radio
don’t forget the dust mask and dust collection.
It’s loud. I have it…I don’t know about Screeching loud….
haha thanks for the suggestions everyone. Oh well as long as it works. Dust collection for a sawzall sounds like it can be a hassle, never even thought about it.
It was a very noticeable difference from my makita, was just curious thats all

Well is it a noticeable difference in performance. Track cars are a lot louder than street cars.
I’ve noticed nothing outta the norm with mine, yes there is a bit of a screech, sorta like a R/C car on gravel but sounds fine to me.
