So, while buying a new router table, I looked over at the Milwaukee display. What Dodge Ram driving MAN would not I ask?????. Milwaukee M12 Hammer Drill $89 normally $159!!!!!!! Milwaukee M12 Impact $79!!!!!!!!! Milwaukee M12 Drill Kit $79!!!!!!!!!!! ARE YOU FREAKING KIDDING ME?????? I CANNOT BUY THEM!!!!!! WHY GOD WHY?????? I DONT HAVE ANY MORE TOOL MONEY!!!! Seriously! Check your stores this is because the Fuel M12 line comes out on the 1st! Unless you use these tools everyday for months, nay, years you don’t need the M12 Fuel when you think of this price!! I am in New Hampshire USA. Online prices are the old prices so got to your stores!

wayneburgessMember since May 2012

We never see savings like this over here.  🙁

Conductor562Member since Nov 2011

Clearing them out for the fuel series.

ChrisKMember since Dec 2012

Wayne, you feel free to come on over! Sure it’s 8° outside (far.) but the prices must be better! Yeah I figured they were doing that but the M12 is a good tool!

Conductor562Member since Nov 2011

I wouldn’t hesitate for a moment to pick up the brushed models at those prices!

ChrisKMember since Dec 2012

I wish! No these are the red lithium M12 not the brushless. I have the brush less M18 Impact. I figured for the price I paid for the Hammer there is now way I could pass that up. I figure I will sell this one on eBay and then use those proceeds for the Brush less one when it comes out. Truthfully though…the brush less version is going to cost almost the same price as the brush less 18v drill! You think its worth it?

wayneburgessMember since May 2012

I would not go getting too exited about brushless tools.

My Metabo 18v is more powerful than the fuel yet it is a 4 pole brushed motor hence it produces more torque.  🙂

ChrisKMember since Dec 2012

Yeah, I’m still himming and hawing over it. I’ve got a brush less 18v impact and hammer. But at the end of the day,, my tools go outside with me in the spring through summer and spend most if not all of their days in my workshop. The battery life is great as is the torque but the M12 is definitely going to fill my needs. Enough said, I’m keeping it! To good a price for an awesome compact tool!

wayneburgessMember since May 2012

Sounds like you have bagged some very very cool tools for great prices bud so am well Happy for you and a little green with envy. LOL  🙂

Wow, that is a deal!

crazyandyMember since Feb 2013

I know i couldnt pass it up so I bought myself the M18 kit with the sawzall, hammer drill driver, impact, work light, and to 4 amp batteries  and with the trade in and knowing people I got the kit for $300!

Conductor562Member since Nov 2011

A 4 tool combo with the 4ah packs for $300? I’m jealous! You stole that kit.

crazyandyMember since Feb 2013

haha yeah thats how I felt walking out with it!

Conductor562Member since Nov 2011

I’ve been there. You almost wanna run out the door with it before they change their mind, lol.

ChrisKMember since Dec 2012

Well that’s how I get most of my tools Conductor! Wait…no that’s not right! I will say if you check the big box stores i got my Makita Hypoid saw and Milwaukee Router kit because of misorders and only spent a half to a third of the price. Both times I bought and didn’t even look back!

firefighter4187Member since Mar 2013

It wont be till christmas when those deals reach the south, by then it will be considered old technology.

crazyandyMember since Feb 2013

And when its “old” technology its even cheaper!

firefighter4187Member since Mar 2013

yess your right!!

Conductor562Member since Nov 2011

I’ve got a couple of buddies at HD that give me a heads up on the really good buys. I always know more about the tools than they do though. You know you’ve got it bad when you walk in HD and THEY ask YOU about their tools, lol.

firefighter4187Member since Mar 2013

Yes i sometimes feel like that in lows

crazyandyMember since Feb 2013

I havent had much luck with lowes in the cordless area….

Conductor562Member since Nov 2011

I order almost all my tools online anymore. CPO Milwaukee and Ohio Power Tool can’t be beat.

ChrisKMember since Dec 2012

CPO is the way to go! I also checked out tools-plus.com they are Connecticut and are really good too. Sometimes they have prices that are amazingly low.

Conductor562Member since Nov 2011

Toolsplus is a great site. I’ve also used Toolking, toolbarn and acmetools for power tools. Ace tools has an awesome selection, but they’ve never been close to the others in price when I’ve been looking. For hand tools I like Zoro tools for their selection and frequent sales. They have a big selection of Proto and Blackhawk which makes me happy. Toolup has the cheapest Proto/Blackhawk prices, but it’s sometimes hard to catch it in stock. If you’re into SK, Tooltopia is the place to go.

wayneburgessMember since May 2012

How do Toolstop.co.uk compare on price to over there guys with the shipping?

ChrisKMember since Dec 2012

Hey Wayne, I gotta figure out the exchange rate to answer that. I will say the guys over there seem friendly. I love watching their videos, the bald guy with glasses is awesome! I know to ship is pretty expensive I’ve seen world wide shipping but at 30-40$ US and the exchange is still upside down for us. I noticed our exchange rate with Canada has gone back in out favor but not by much.

Conductor562Member since Nov 2011

Are their prices in euros or pounds?

ChrisKMember since Dec 2012

You know…I think they still use pounds. Actually, thanks to my Top Gear addiction (actually BETTER than porn) I am positive they use pounds. They are always using that unit for the cost of new cars. I know the exchange of pounds vs. Dollars is in the UK’s favor but how much????

Conductor562Member since Nov 2011

$1 USD = $ .67 Pounds or $ .77 Euros 🙂

ChrisKMember since Dec 2012

I cannot believe that stupid Euro is still worth more than the US Dollar.  Thanks Obama!  If we didnt have such an entitlement government giving to a such an entitled population maybe out money might be worth something.

Conductor562Member since Nov 2011

It was pretty close there for awhile, something like $ .93 to € 1.00, now not so much.

crazyandyMember since Feb 2013

Hey dont worry all we have to do is print more physical dollars to get more money duh haha

Conductor562Member since Nov 2011

That’s right. Money backed by air and a full guarantee from the debt ravaged government.

ChrisKMember since Dec 2012
