Can’t wait!
Stoked about this but not nearly as much as the bradder coming out O0
What’s wrong with the finish Nailer already available ?
Whats the difference

Right now it’s the 16ga so the diameter of the fastener is thinner. The 15ga will shoot a thicker finish nail.

Also there is NOTHING wrong with the 16ga. It is the best cordless nailer out as far as I’ve experienced. I love mine.
Is that 28 degree ? I think the 16g is less
This will b a nice addition to my arsenal
Mine is 20 degrees angled
Ya @ChrisKI the 16g is 20degree angled is the new 15 g the same cuz our 15g air is 28 degree ?
I don’t know dude, but the rake of that magazine looks sharper than my 16ga!

That’s what I’m thinking
15g is standardized is it not? Every one I’ve seen is angled more steeply than angled 16s I’ve seen.

16g is 20 degrees I think
Edit: as literally everyone above mentioned…
Thanks for clearing that up.
Im happy to see more selection as I’m sure some have been asking for this.
Me personally I’ll stick with the 16g XR20v
and maybe pick up the brad when it drops for corner work with mouldings.
Nailers all lined up nice and pretty. [External image (uploads.tapatalk-cdn.com), not copied]

I’m with you on this. I’ve got the 692 two speed framer and the 16ga, the only one I really want is the bradder. If I didn’t have the 16, I’d get the 15 but for me the 16 does a fantastic job.
I’ve got the framer and 16. I’ll be buying the 15 and 18 without a doubt and potentially the stapler. Strap nailer and floor gun are too specialized for me.
Brad nailer is pre ordered. I really want the 15ga but I don’t do enough exterior work for it right now. All trim work I use 16ga,18ga, and 21ga on.
Hey now @The.Handyman….is that your gun collection?

I wish. Maybe one day. I like Paslode too much to get rid of all those though.
Pas….is badass……great air guns ,cordless guns, small lightweight, powerful…just the cartridge thing I don’t like….not bad in cold weather with the new all season fuel…..but they are quality made tools that last
does anyone know the model# of the stapler ?
any pictures ?
release date ? / probabal price ?
thx

Stapler – 18ga 1/4″ crown – DCN681
It’s up on the HD website. No exact release date. Shouldn’t be far behind the 18ga brad.

Is there a benefit to having both 15 and 16 gauge nail guns? Do they fill different needs?
also let me please understand the difference between a
brad nailer and a stapler ?
I know stapler from office/school time; looks likean upside dwon “u”
but i watched the videos posted above and on the stapler I see pics of brad nails/single pins !!
clarification needed
thx
The stapler shoots staples; |_| |_| |_| rather than brads | | |. From the side they still look like 18g brads but there are two of them and they are connected just like overgrown versions of staples in an office or school. We use 16 gauge staples extensively at work.
@jkeating3 16 gauge is a larger brad nail, no head and nice for trim. 15g are actual nails, they have little heads, better for casing on doors, exterior trim, etc. Different roles, 15g has a significantly larger hole to fill than 16 thanks to a thicker nail and a nail head.
@Bremon this makes sense. Thanks.
