How long does a4ah last

joemontagueMember since May 2016

Depends  how hard you push it but it’s got a decent  amount  of runtime

joemontagueMember since May 2016

It’s hard to put an exact  time on it bc it really  depends  on what  you  are  doing

Nice powerful saw, best off with the x2 model, you get a bit more power to it

Yes but use 2x the batteries and u have to have two for it to work and is more expensive and weights more

danielicrazyMember since Apr 2016

I have the single battery brushless.  I am happy with it.  Apparently the sawzall is faster and has less vibration but i’ve never compared myself.  I only wish the makita had an orbital option like the new bosch.

One thing to keep in mind that i’ve noticed, is running the saw between 3ah and 5ah batteries, there was a significant boost with the 5ah.  so depending on my task, i’ll opt for the bigger battery when i’m using it.

I’ve got the single battery u it and like it a lot. Very solid but light weight, definitely glad I waited for this one to get released, it’s awesome.

To be honest I don’t know if I have ever used a Makita cordless power tool. No one I work with use Makita cordless. The Milwaukee guy at work says Makita and DeWALT are junk. I don’t listen to him sometimes.

Dude, it’s all smoke and mirrors. Everybody has preferences. I have used all the major US available brands. I think it’s really a personal preference more than anything. My brother is a plumber and hates Dewalt and loves Milwaukee because of the specialty tools but he loves using my Dewalt and Makita’s at my home. I don’t let him in the same room with my Festools. It’s funny how some guys treat their tools. I don’t make money with mine yet but in a year and a half my tools will be making me money part time.

eemmm nope.. Being as objective as I can, i’ll still vote Milwaukee sawzall…

BUT
The new Bosch is looking very promising.  Although you never see the Hilti recip saw out and about, i’m sure that’s a fair contender as well

I believe the Bosch has an orbital action.  When it comes out it’ll be a beast I think 🙂
