Anything to do with a bandsaw?
Not a bandsaw, but a different type of saw.

I have never seen one like this but must be some kind of punch to set saw blade teeth?

Circular saw blade is my guess but since you are not using your banana its hard to say.

Ding ding ding! We have a winner! (I’ll keep my banana to myself, thanks! [emoji16])
Here’s a photo that explains it for those interested… [External image (uploads.tapatalk-cdn.com), not copied]

Is there a brand on that? I have never seen anything like that and I bet you are right that does not get used often.
Hmmm, see what I can come up with.

Yeah, this particular saw set is from Craftsman. It’s pretty old, though. Circa 1950’s I think. It works great. I’ve used it several times to fix bent teeth from hitting hard knots and the occasional nail or screw in reclaimed lumber.

LOL.
Nope nothing to do with spark plugs.
lol used to make my own when I was racing, when installing a 5500 RPM stall converter you want everything torqued perfectly
Pain on this vehicle. Just pulling the starter to install it is a chore. Should have torqued the damper with the motor on the stand.

I am guessing some type of cable stripper but have no idea beyond that.
Cable Union
Had to do a bit of research to come up with this guess… 1/2 & 3/4 Fostapex prep tool.

Three good guesses and JMG in the right trade at least…. And the 3/4″ is the only correct part about it…

U guys are hilarious ??
OK any more guesses??!
It would be much easier if the photo did not have “banana cream” over the name of it !
Those look like blades to me so JMGs guess of something to true up the ends of PEX seems logical.
So, not a yellow fruit… Got it.
SharkBite deburr & gauge tool?
Not for water lines….
If its not for water, I bet its for cutting/prepping CSST which the county I live in is trying to ban !
https://www.gastite.com/us/technical-resources/xr3end-prep.html
Looks like your are correct… Never have used the material myself.
When I built my house the inspectors were whining about it. Every new house has CSST and has for several years. Bonding it to ground apparently is very critical. They acted like a lighting strike a mile away could rupture it inside your house.
Hope not as my fireplaces, dryer and stove is all that stuff. Sure is easier than running schedule 40 black everywhere.
I have a manual pipe threader set and have never found black iron to be difficult to work with. Goes back to the right tools for the job, I suppose.

That is correct.
For what reasons tho?

Good work finding that
This particular csst is double layer with a metal outer to act as the grounding shield along the whole length. It’s the only brand to do so I believe.
