does anybody know the shortcoming of makita BL1830 power battery, i’m going to buy one for my makita drill
any opinions will be appreciate, welcome
They have problems and start to flash red and green.
Also many batteries go down with the same 2 cells dropping out to zero Volts making them useless.
I have had fair luck with my Makita batteries, they do seem to have a date of failure built in, as my batteries that I purchase at the same time all tend to die within a month of each other. Still worlds better than Nicad. I find Milwaukee batteries don’t fail in the same way, the seem to fade out over time rather than than just up and quit with a charging failure like the Makitas do.
