Milwaukee M28C charger | Tools In Action

i have acquired a Milwaukee M28C charger(come in auction lot of tools),it has a two pronged plug,i have put it in a UK adaptor,but does not light up,should it still light up without battery being placed on it?

or will it only light up when charging ,it seems to be brand new

also would this work in an adaptor,or is it not suitable for UK?

The M18 and M12 chargers only light up when you plug in a battery, so I imagine the M28 charger would work the same way.

Is it a US version charger? Because that would be 110v power to run it, are you not 220V in the UK? The two aren’t compatible in this insance
