I recently changed my belt on my 300mm Makita Planer/Jointer (2030); the belt continues to slip and rub on the belt guide. I cannot see anywhere where I can adjust this.
Any thoughts??
Any luck? How old is this jewel?
You need to change belt rollers and check ball bearings. Maybe some ball bearings are not moving smooth so belt slips because its hard to spin other parts…
