Testing out the poll feature. Thought I would ask what the better/preferred saw is?

Eric – TIAMember since Jan 2010

Thanks for setting up.  I am curious to what people think about this one.

Man. Talk about a controversial poll! This like Trump or Clinton!!!!

BremonMember since Dec 2014

In my eyes this isn’t even a contest, and is still closer than a hypothetical choice between trump and Clinton lol.

I’m going to buy the 790. It has it all.

The 2734 I may get down the road if I can get the same 2x 9.0 deal you guys down south have.

The Milwaukee saw is more compelling now that they are including a 2nd 9.0ah pack. The Dewalt does have some killer features though like the ability of ac power and the 12″ blade size.

MikeyBMember since Dec 2014

I wish I had both, lol.

I really don’t have a need for a cordless miter right now, or the desire for another battery platform. But that might change in the future…

Mikey, for the Love of God!!!! Do we technically “need” to have this? Only put on the “need” face for the wife!!!!!

Except for one the ideal choice is both and for the other it’s neither.

M18 doesn’t have a chance until they release a mains adapter.

As much as I love Milwaukee you can’t deny the elegancy of the flex volt, it’s a true Cadillac of saws, Milwaukee may rip through material but the 790 is refined machine

This poll is the opposite end of the spectrum, which do you like more…

Clinton versus Trump is about which one you dislike more.

So are polls a new feature? The poll I made is the first one I’ve seen on the forum. Wasn’t expecting this many replies on this post since its so new. Should be more fair comparisons if a 10 in Flexvolt comes out and a 12 in Fuel HD comes out.

Dewalt. Can’t deny the heritage and experience they built their name on with miter saws

Eric – TIAMember since Jan 2010

This is looking lopsided.

Lol yes it is. All I see on job sites are dewalt miters, I myself have a 703.

The shortcomings of the Milwaukee sunk that last nail in the proverbial coffin for my decision in this poll

BremonMember since Dec 2014

780s are everywhere. Make it corded/cordless and compare it to a less capable saw and the choice seems clear. Dewalt hit a home run with this one.

Good poinr
