I just ordered this from Amazon. Anyone ever use one. I am filling 5 1/2″ foundation walls 2′ tall and needed a vibrator. Sounds like it will do the job as long as I have plenty of fully charged packs.

What do you all think?

Is at least one side of the form exposed?  If so you can take the blade out of a sawzall and run the shoe over the forms since it’s only a 5-1/2″ think pour.

With that 1-1/8″ vibrator head I’d be worried about it redistributing or getting stuck on aggregate in such a thin, tall pour.

Both side exposed. With rebar in the forms it don’t leave much room for a bigger head.

1/2″ uprights every 2 foot. Crossed 8″ up and 6″ down

Yeah you’ll need a smaller head vibrator.  Running it down the side can cause breaks in the aggregate trying to avoid the rebar.  I’d definitely go with something on the outside of the form.  A random orbit sander can work too.

I have access to a 3″ head vibrator. I thought of using it and laying it against the outside of the forms
