Not sure if anyone has mentioned this but I just read about it on toolguyd. did a search for the model number and nothing came up. To me it looks very similar to the M12, same length, similar weight. It doesn’t have tool-less blade change. Hopefully the price is right. Good to see them expanding CXT at a fairly rapid pace. Competition improves the breed.
Can’t believe it doesn’t have a tool less blade change though
Must have cheaper or to compete with the m12 price

Yep that’s sadly why they omitted it was to keep a pricepoint.
Why be a leader in quality when you can engage in a race to the bottom on price/feature? That’s rhetorical and I don’t want to hear the sad answer lol.
A tooled blade change is so backwards when other companies are pushing a one handed blade change.
Apparently they also have a USB power source coming out, which looks like a miniature version of the 18v and has a belt clip as well. I really like the design of Makita power sources. My M12 one is compact and portable, the M18 should have 2 USB I feel. The Dewalt I’m not sure if I’ll buy; it has slow output and doesn’t positively lock onto the battery from my understanding.
I would pay a little more to get tool less blade change
