So I am going to share some amusement with you guys and make a game with it, eBay requires a keen eye in buying tools sometimes, things are not always as there appear and over time you learn to go over pictures with a fine tooth comb… so with that being said what is wrong with this listing, I did this in a different thread but we can have some fun with this one, this particular one is a little more difficult.
heres the listing… here is a zoomed in on it, was almost going to pick this up until i found this
See the problem yet?
It’s a 2410, not a 2407.

New listing. Maybe should have been $180, but that’s more in line with brand new, I’d think. Maybe should have been $118?
I sent them a message, tempted to order it to see what happens lol
I hear Ebay finds almost any complaint in the buyer’s favor nowadays, so maybe worth trying.
Does say he’s sold 3, but I don’t see them under completed listings, or any other sold items. I don’t know how far that’s supposed to go back. Fishy.
4 sold now!

may be able to cover under warranty
Have no need, but the hoarder in me is saying otherwise, lol.
5 sold now.
#5 was me, 18 bucks, I’ve lost more money than that in the laundry lol
I’m guessing if it’s an honest price mistake, you’ll just get a refund.
This refurb kit is $219 at cpomilwaukee.com.
8 sold now.
I bought 3, we’ll see lol

I looked at that listing – his only other – earlier. It didn’t inspire any more confidence, that’s for sure.

I’m game, in for a future refund.
I ordered one this morning.
We’ll see? I was number 37 sold.
I had to look in the comments to see what was wrong
The person does have 100% positive feedback??
Still alittle questionable about it. This is one of these things. If I didn’t order did I miss out? Or I did order it and got a great deal!!
Now their are 40 sold
Well as the old saying goes, If it sound to good to be true, it probable is.
I got my email from eBay. Just some of the letter. We’re writing to let you know that an unauthorized third party may have accessed the seller’s account to list this item. The item has been removed from the site, and the transaction was cancelled. We ask that you take the following precautions:
I went and cancelled my transaction and got my money returned.

Same. They never accepted the payment so you just go to paypal and click “cancel”

That’s what I did also.
Same thing happened to me once on Amazon for a Uniden Bearcat BCT-15, it was a refurb w/ original warranty for $2.99. I ordered all 6 available, they even accepted the payment, and was issued a pre-tracking number. I was all excited, but at the same time I was feeling guilty, 2 days later the money was refunded, with an email saying it was priced incorrectly.
