Milwaukee Warranty ?

Hey guys , does anyone know how Milwaukees warranty works ? Do I have to register like Ridgid or save receipt ?

If you don’t have a receipt the 5 years goes off of the date on the serial number, you do not have to register either.

They didn’t even ask me for a receipt or serial number on my one key drill that had the stuck chuck. Since it is brand new that may have been the reason though.
