Nice job Dwain, can’t wait to get my hands on it here in the US. I am being very patient.
How do you like the rounded part on the top of the handle? I find I’m always jamming the knuckle on my thumb into the part that sticks out there on other recip saws, but it looks like you end up holding higher up on the handle with this design.
I’ve never owned a recip and can’t wait for this 18v. I’ve used the older version numerous times and found it crap, main reason I’ve yet to own one.
DeWalt best be getting with the program. Hopefully the come out with one this summer that runs on their rumored new batteries.

I like the ergonomics of this handle, and you can hold it any number of ways really.
Take it for what you will@dwain , you’re mentioned here:

I’ve had my run in with him, but I’ve made my peace. I don’t take him too seriously though….

Great review dwain ! Been waiting a long time for this ^^
Seems liike an awesome saw 🙂
I think I am, like most people will be, dissappointed that the 36volt model only offers increased runtime and no obvious power increase 🙂
But the 18v model is a worthy addition for team team 🙂

Thank you dwain for being real.
