If I were in the Makita 12v platform I would definitely grab one. Looks like a nice saw.

That’s the older 12v stick pack model before the CXT line.
Yep Jimbo has it right its the version for the old Makita stem pack 12v tools
Ok so they have had that dual trigger setup for awhile, i’m just that unfamiliar with Makita.

They switched to slide packs to rejuvenate their 12v line with some more professional line tools. They have a few brushless offerings as well. Small line but its still in the beginnings, if its anything like their 18v line I’m sure well see them take Milwaukee head on.

I think this new slide pack 12v lineup so far is a decent offering. If they get a few more tools in the lineup they might be pretty tough. It will be interesting to see how far they push it.
