When it comes to pressure washers, what company do you think of? My guess is probably not Dewalt. When you think of Dewalt, I am sure you think of power tools, especially cordless power tools. You might be thinking of their miter saws, table saws, or their drill/drivers but pressure washers usually aren’t the first thing that comes to mind when you think Dewalt. But once you try one of these Dewalt Pressure Washers, I am sure it will be at the top of your list.
Dewalt offers a wide range of pressure washers but today we are going to cover four of them.
- DXPW3400PR – 3400 PSI
- DXPW3625 – 3600 PSI
- DXPW4035 – 4000 PSI
- DXPW4440 – 4400 PSI
Dewalt Pressure Washers
When it comes to Dewalt, you already know they are a quality tool brand. When it comes to the pressure washer, the same holds true. The frames are solid, the motors are some of the best and the pumps are top-notch. Dewalt didn’t cut any corners with these pressure washers. You know these are built to last, built to work and built to do the job, just like their power tools.

Final Thoughts on Dewalt Pressure Washers
When it comes to pressure washers, Dewalt has a wide variety to choose from. You can buy anything from a great homeowner pressure washer to a heavy-duty Jobsite ready pressure washer. Each pressure washer is built to last and built with quality parts. We have been able to test and review different Dewalt pressure washers over the years and each time we have been impressed with how well they work and how they hold up over time.
I have a Dewalt Pressure Washer with the Honda GX200 Engine and a Cat Pump. Best pressure washer I have ever had. I don’t think Dewalt makes any part on the pressure washer, except the name plate.
Hi Doug,
That’s a good point. So what is the value of getting a Dewalt pressure washer than? Honda engines speak for themselves, other than the name plate what justifies spending the money.
Mitch
Mitch,
DeWalt puts everything together using quality 1st Class parts. I have a DeWalt DXPW4035 with a Honda GX270 Engine and AAA Triplex Pump. Those two parts alone are the nucleus of the machine and they’re the best in the industry. The frame is quality powder coated and all the hardware is 1st class. DeWalt did a great job creating this, and all their Power Washers. I challenge you to find another company that does this well.
A little off the subject for a moment. This is my first pressure washer so I did a bunch of research before I laid down my hard-earned cash. The most important item I found to be very aware of when looking for a pressure washer is the GPM rating. The PSI doesn’t matter because, if you choose the correct GPM, the PSI will follow automatically. Basically, what I found is, if your a guy who simply wants a power washer for around the house to wash the driveway, clean the car, etc…, you don’t need anything over 2.4GPM. And if you look carefully, most companies classify their Commercial washers above 3.0GPM. If you’re someone who needs a washer to get just about any job done around the house or a small business, you need to be above 3.0GPM. (I suggest 3.5GPM at a minimum) If you purchase a 2.4GPM unit, it will take about twice as long to clean a driveway as a 3.5GPM unit, maybe longer. I went with the DeWalt DXDP4035 (60895) and it’s rated at 4000PSI and 3.5GPM. At this rating, I can do anything around my house. And I mean ANYTHING! It’s rated as a Commercial unit. Grant it, I’m not knocking smaller rated units at all! It’s all about your needs. My #1 need was to get rid of stubborn stains that are created by neighbors’ trees. Extremely hard to get rid of, but this unit does the job. I tried it with a 2800PSI 2.4GPM unit and it didn’t even make a dent. HUGE difference!
Sorry to get off subject. What sold me on this DeWalt model, other than the 3.5GPM rating was the Honda engine. I read so many reviews where people had a hard time starting other manufacturer engines after so many uses. But the Hondas hang in there for the long run. Not to mention they’re much quieter.
My two cents…
I bought a DeWalt 4400 psi pressure washer at the end of last summer used it two to three times put it up in my basement for the winter which is climate control only to find a few weeks ago all the oil from the pump drained out from the oil site glass window up front .contacted DeWalt directly they gave me a number to call to fix it but I cannot find my receipt from Home Depot so I cannot get it fixed under warranty .over $1,000 use three times what a disappointment something like this should not happen when only using it three times no chemicals and over the winter it just leaks all out from the pump. I even asked DeWalt if they could send me a replacement seal for the window they said they could not send me one that’s not how it works. buyer beware I would think twice about buying a Dewalt pressure cleaner
That really stinks. I can’t believe HD won’t help out either. It stinks when you trust two companies and neither of them will help you out.
Chris,
I shop mostly at Lowe’s. They no longer require paper receipts as everything is on their computer. I find it hard to believe Home Depot doesn’t do the same. You should call your local store, or even better, go by and ask them if a receipt is needed for Returns. If they so No, then you shouldn’t need one for Warranty work.
