Bosch may not have the largest 12V line on the market, but the tools they have out for the 12V line, well let’s just say they rock. I am a huge fan of Bosch power tools, but I think they make the most comfortable 12V tools. For me, I think it is the highest quality 12V tool you can buy. Well, it may come as no surprise to you, but this 12V impact driver isn’t any different and Bosch didn’t disappoint. The PS42 should be your next buy if you are looking for a 12V line. No, they don’t pay me to say that, it’s just a manufacturer I believe in. For me, there are three manufacturers that stand above the rest and Bosch is one of the three. Now Bosch might not always be first to market, they might not have all the bells and whistles that other companies have, but the one thing they have is quality and toughness. Okay, two things.
Again, I am not a sales guy for Bosch, in fact, I am not alone. Take a look at the reviews on Amazon and see what people are saying. The trigger is smooth, which is great for precision work. The tool is small which is great to get into tight spaces. The tool is lightweight, 1.6 lbs. which is great for your arm. The tool has a brushless motor which is great for runtime and longevity of the tool. The tool is powerful with 975 in-lbs of torque. Do I really need to say more? Sure, why not? I love the three LED lights on the front also.
So what don’t I like about the tool? Well, it took me a while and the only thing I can really think is that I don’t have one for each hand. Not that I could really operate like that, but it would be cool to pull two of them out of a holster. Okay, maybe that is a little overboard.
If you are looking for a 12V impact driver for HVAC, electrical or whatever, this is the one 12V impact driver that is a must have.
Good review. I agree about Bosch. They dont always have the most powerful tools but whatever they do make they are solid tools that feel like nothing but quality. I just got into the Bosch 12v line and would love to add this to my line up.
Thanks for the feedback and I love Bosch also.
I have never been disappointed by any of my Bosch tools. Nice review Eric. #TIACREW
Me either and thanks for the feedback.
