Unofficially, HD will be beginning to put out the new DeWalt gear Nov 2.
Items I know of are:
Tough System Clear Top tote
Tough System Radio
Mini Blower
The mini blower came in stock at HD yesterday. Can be shipped by the 29th (and I live as far south in the US as you can get).
HD steals so much of my money its not even funny.
They’ve had the clear top organizer for a few weeks. I got 3 off of the shelf.
I swear the mini blowers come off the same assembly line as the Milwaukee and Makita versions they all look so similar casings are different but still I think they share internals
I have seen the clear tote and the blower……not interested. But I will be buying the radio with a HF 20% off coupon ( I hope). [emoji12]

I broke down and bought the mini blower today. On my way out the store and realized my 15% off coupon expires tomorrow. It’s a pretty sweet little gadget. Even my wife likes it. She wants one to be able to blow off the front porch and back patio.
I did have to sneak the ladder over to get it off the top shelf.
Tough system radio is at my HD haven’t seen the blower or clear too tote for tough system yet.

All my stores have it too. Only, it’s still on the top shelf in boxes marked for “Holiday.” I narrowed it down and these boxes are Also marked “put out on 11/2.”

I was eying the new cross line lasers. I really like the idea of the green laser.

It’s a good little saw. I have one. You can modify its little by putting a 3/4 piece of plywood on the bottom and bolting the quick release mounts to it. Then it will mount to all the DeWalt stands.

Any chance you saw the finish nailer as being released at the same time? Trust be told I don’t know what I’m going to gripe about once it’s released lol

Mike you have got to get that saw dude. It’s the DW734 and its fence is awesome. Can’t put a stacked dado on but you can certainly add double blades or a partial stack. I just made a cross cut sled for mine and live the saw. Super compact but plenty of power and like I said….the fence is freakin awesome. I’ve also got a wood throat plate to accommodate two 10″ blades.

Not that I am aware of. I haven’t seen the nailer in their computer. I’ll check for you though.

It doesn’t look like HD has created a sku for the finish gun yet. Nothing in stores.

I just got out of a union meeting with some guys from DeWalt. They were all super cool, bought a bunch of beer for us union guys and let us sample some tools. They showed off some new red and green laser levels that run off 20v batts. They mentioned that they are pushing to get the tools in HD by the 15th of this month. Probably to get the black friday rush

I didn’t get that far into it. I played a little, set a few presets and decided to give up and just enjoy the sound.
I am stumped. I got it to show some random time. The manual doesn’t say. Only reference of the clock is that the clock is ONLY displayed when in Radio mode, which is untrue. The clock is displayed in all sources.

27:00? It’s just randomly changing. I’m wondering if it takes some time for it to calibrate off the FM signal.
I was thinking the same thing. Not sure though. It was 5 hrs off for a while but the minutes were correct. Then I got that same 3/:50 thing! Wtf haha

It starts to, what I believe is calibrating, then if you turn it off, it starts back at zero.
The instructions were not very clear ( not that I need to read instructions )

I haven’t seen the blower yet but I bought the tough radio the other day and gotta say it sounds so good. I asked around on here first because I was considering the Milwaukee. Glad I went yellow. The two subs shake the floor!
Best construction radio I’ve heard also, can’t figure out the time either
I really like the new radio, definitely high on my list of things I want to get but can’t justify yet.

I’m pretty much over the time thing. I don’t think it’ll ever be right, but it’s got amazing sound so screw the time haha

We had a little block party tonight on our street and I had the radio going for about three hours on Bluetooth. Battery gauge is down 1 notch. It sounded clear as day from 150′ away.

It’s been pretty quiet on the Dewalt front lately, just wondering if there have been any spottings of the finish nailer and mini blower in the wild yet, I haven’t been to HD in a few days (very uncharacteristic of me) but didn’t see them on my last visit.
Also, I remember back during the DeWalt event in May, Dan mentioned this being an amazing year for team yellow…does anyone really feel that way? Just looking to get some opinions.
