So just went to HD and bought (yeah kind of an impulse buy when I saw it) two Dewalt XL 50″ Clamps for $24 each. These retail for $39.97 but in the store they were marked down. The Dewalt XL clamps are the best trigger clamps I have used and now have a half dozen of them and will probably grab a couple more today. These are much different from most trigger clamps including the large and mediums offered from Dewalt in that they offer a full clamp face. All Dewalt XL clamps have this. Great feature for edge gluing in that the whole edge is under pressure. The pads are rubber and non marring too and they can be used as spreaders. They are full price on the web site but my store had them really cheap in Somersworth NH. Maybe yours too?

I check these out every time I go to HD and can never pull the trigger. You are the one that gave me the dewalt clamp bug! This price drop would push me over the edge. But it seems that my HD NEVER has the great deals that are .everywhere else

No deals for the clamp in Central Ohio, I have these clamps in all available sizes on my wish list, even though I already have about 3 dozen various clamps in the workshop.

Funny that, I just got back from HD Rochester and they’re full price. Just must be that store.
