Hi

I have DCCS670 60V chainsaw which has developed an issue.  It doesn’t want to start unless I turn the chain little bit (sometimes it takes 2-5 tries).  I took  the kickback brake drum off and the same issue persists, the motor does not start unless I turn it some “clicks”’.  Anyone had this issue?  Bad motor, “motor brake”,…?

Call Dewalt Service and send it to them they will gladly fix it or replace it

This chainsaw is out-of-warranty.

They still repair tools out of warranty. You may have to pay but that’s part of owning a tool.

is the chain too tight?

I’m having the same issue. Were you able to find a resolution?
