Bought a Dewalt DWS 779, 12 in double bevel sliding miter saw and have two identical pieces that cam in the box. There is no mention of these pieces in the manual and I have no idea what they are and how they fit on my saw.
Has a threaded hole on the flat top part

It goes under the saw and serves as the bracket that holds the guides under the saw.
