Are you in the market for a small, quiet. rugged little inverter/generator? We may have found the perfect solution for you. At roughly $600 the Westinghouse WH2000iXLT is an awesome buy. We gave one to Pat the mobile boat repair guy and he instantly fell in love with it. It provides ample power to run his buffers, generators and trailer. The unit will give you 13 hours of runtime at 50% load on 1.3 gallons of fuel. It is rated for 1800 Watts and 2200 Starting watts. If you need more power you can easily parallel 2 togheter for double the power.
The 43 lb unit is whisper quiet. It also has a low idle mode to make it even quieter when running lighter loads. It has a 2 year warranty and starts first pull every time. 2 120V AC outlets and a 12V dc outlet keep it simple and easy. If this little unit can survive a job site it for sure can survive a campsite. For more check it out over at Westinghouse. WARNING: Never run this unit Indoors.
Very cool from westinghouse! I need one of these but every time I have a lil extra money I totally forget.
I could use one, seems like every time it rains the power go’s out here in our little town.
This one looks like the exact one I picked up @ Costco but with a red cover and different name. These are starting to pop up all over the place. I have peace of mind knowing I have a small generator to help me out when needed.
