The Grange and Alpha Range both feature Lacrosse’s ZXT rubber at higher concentrations than most brands, increasing the resilience of their boots to ozone and harsh weather conditions. As well, the higher rubber content is designed to stand up against wear and tear better.

Women’s Lacrosse Boots Review Performance

Women's Lacrosse Boots Review

Lacrosse Boots have honestly surprised me. Every boot manufacturer claims to make the best product but so few have the long history of Lacrosse does to back it up. Of all of the boots I have owned, the Grange is definitely my current favorite. It isn’t short on style, which helps during heavy rain when we need to pair them with jeans and live in them for a few days. The height of the boots lend itself to trendy style as well as the shaft hits just below the knee for ultimate protection. They also run true to size as an 8 fit perfectly. The lining inside makes a huge difference in comfort as well. With the heat here in Texas, the lining in the Grange boots is a huge improvement over other brands where your calves are touching straight rubber.  The adjustable strap is somewhat pointless on these boots though, as tightening them does cause the boots to bend, and I would be concerned how it would wear over time with that. Overall though, these boots work amazing for anything you can throw at it.

The Alpha Range boots are incredibly functional. They aren’t really the prettiest, as they are slightly bulkier than the Grange’s. They make up for that in comfort and breathability though, and they do it well. The Neoprene and rubber combination makes for a really comfortable boot and while it does have decent ventilation, it insulates well too. The ability to roll the neoprene down will be a huge bonus for some, with our tall grass and snakes it isn’t a feature I will personally get a ton of use out. Another big bonus to this model is that the adjustable strap works much better on the Alpha Range given the increased flexibility of the neoprene, a much wider range of calf sizes will find these boots comfortable to wear. Overall these boots are definitely the first pair I grab when I run out to do yard work or walk the property because they are easy to get on and off and are comfortable and cool to wear.

Women’s Lacrosse Boots Review Value

The Grange boots from Lacrosse are priced at $90.00 which is honestly really fairly priced for well-made rubber boots. The closest comparison I would make would be Hunter’s for women, which comparable models running about $160.00 dollars. Personally, I wish I had known about these sooner because they are amazing.

The Alpha Range boots are slightly more expensive running at $120.00. These boots are incredibly comfortable, easy to pull on and off and have a rugged feel that makes them awesome when facing the elements.  The customization makes them a winner for those who really need the utility of the boots but don’t want sacrifice comfort.

Women’s Lacrosse Boots Review Final Thoughts

Women’s Lacrosse Boots really impressed me. Purchasing boots as a woman are as personal as jeans, with each person having slightly different priorities. Lacrosse leaves no one out with a huge line of boots that are both classic and built to last. Their long history is a testament to their comfort, value, and durability.
