I came across a story about how a wheelchair bound Army Veteran was shopping for supplies at Lowes when his VA supplied wheel chair broke. The great employes at Lowes took him over to hardware department and fixed up his wheel chair. They went through the entire chair for 45 minutes and fixed it up like new. This was above and beyond their job duties.
They didn’t charge him, they said it “It was our Honor” . The Tools In Action Crew would like to thanks those employes and Lowes for hiring stand up guys. This is what America is all about. We take care of our Veterans that fought for our freedom. Our government let this Veteran down with a crappy wheel chair, but these true Americans saved the day.
Thank you David, Marcus and Souleyman from the Mariners Harbor Lowes store.
This is a great story. I saw it earlier this week and thought what our world would be like if more people stepped up like those Lowes employes did. We shouldn’t be afraid to help those who need help.
Wow… Blessed their heart. Lowe’s management should do something nice to those employees!
Dan thank you for sharing this wonderful story with us. I agree with you that our veterans deserve the upmost respect for putting their lives on the line for our freedoms & these employees did an honorable thing. Now, if our crummy politicians would do the same for these men & women. May we all take this opportunity to cherish our military & all those that put their life on the line for us (police, firemen, first responders, etc.). This story picked me up today. Laters TIA
Beautiful. Can’t help but get choked up a bit.
Thank you Lowes
Great story and way to go Lowe’s
