In March 2023 I shared that I switched to FLEX Power Tools as my main battery platform. This move included moving into FLEX’s modular tool box system known as Stack Pack. Six months later, I’m happy to report that I have a lot of nice things to say about FLEX tool boxes. Which makes me even more excited about the five new FLEX tool boxes being released, along with a open-mouth tool bag and rolling dolly tray.
Today I’m sharing the details on my new FLEX tool boxes, plus more exciting equipment.

About FLEX Stack Pack
Stack Pack is FLEX’s modular tool storage system that allows users to totally customize their tool box organization to their needs. Most major tool brands have come out with their own modular tool storage system. One of the biggest systems out there is the Milwaukee PACKOUT Tool Storage System.
One thing we like about FLEX Stack Pack is the boxes are just as easy to lock into place as the PACKOUT system. Other modular storage systems we tested weren’t as easy to nest into each other, especially when the weight of tools was added. The different FLEX tool boxes were easy to lock and remove as needed.
The FLEX Stack Pack is also extremely durable. The case is a hard plastic polypropylene that is further reinforced with aluminum corners. The combo makes them insanely impact resistant. The durability is comparable to Pelican boxes.

FLEX Stack Pack™ Features
Each of these new tool boxes are very different from each other, but they all share a few traits that are part of the Stack Pack system.
Shared FLEX Stack Pack™ features include:
- Quick-Connect™ Easy-fitting side locks for both full-size and half-size boxes.

- 250 lb. load capacity for storing and moving tools.

These are the common features that make the FLEX Stack Pack System work. However, this release includes a lot of unique features on each box that expand on the customization available to each Stack Pack user.

Flex released five new tool boxes in total. Each of these tool boxes are extremely unique aside from the standard Stack Pack features. Some even offer additional customization features so you can organize down to the very last bolt in your tool box.

Wrap-up
As you can see this release of new FLEX Stack Pack boxes and equipment offers users total customization and optimization of their tool storage system. Certain additions even allow you to make better use of your workspace. It’s no surprise that I’m excited by this release – Dan constantly pokes fun at how organized I am. He probably does it to make himself feel better about his own unorganized workshop. But maybe these new FLEX Stack Pack boxes could even turn Dan into an organized man.
