We have a Mule and no its not the kind that has four legs. Its the baddest golf cart on the block and has a utility oriented background, it is the ultimate lawn and garden tool. I used to have a Kawasaki Brute Force 650i and on the first day I managed to roll it and it landed on my helmet and cracked it. Rather than spend the rest of my life sipping from a straw, I decided to get something a little safer. I got my first Mule 610 in 2007 and have been a fan since. The Mule is powered by a Kawasaki 401cc motor some say that’s underpowered, but the Mule is small compared to other UTV’s and the 401cc’s manage well even plowing 11″ of snow. It can tow up to 1100 lbs and the cargo bed holds around 400 lbs. For 2011 the XC has a few upgrades that make it a little more aggressive, including 26″ Maxxis bighorn tires, some CVT transmission tweaks, a Teryx steering wheel, extended A-Arms, grippier seat and a different bed latch system. Think of the Mule 610 as a Kick A$% golf cart. We are going to turn this Mule into the Ultimate Utility Side by Side.
So here is what we have planned for the 2011 Kawasaki Mule 610 XC Project-
