Okay Crew I was cleaning out some stuff today and came across this little gem. A Ryobi Air Grip Line Laser and it still works fine. So if you would like to have this GEM you are going to have to answer 2 questions.

1. Why do you want this and how would you use this?

2. I see from some other post that a few of the CREW follow April Wilkerson over on Youtube. Now do you follow her for her amazing wood working skills or for something else.

Is it a 1 directional line. I am in the market for a laser the do framing and drop ceilings

Nice rego!

1 I want this because I love lasers, I already proved that lol I would use this to help out on my plumbing jobs, in conjunction with my Bosch laser level

2 yes April has a friggin awesome shop, I love the folding work tables and how she organizes items where the least used are up closer to the ceiling to save space, I haven’t watched a lot if her videos, but she is easy on the eyes and ears

1- I would like this laser to help aid in work I sometimes do. I would use in many applications example to hold a level line to measure off of in a grade application or to check a wall is plumb or to set wall plugs all same hight

2- April has a clean freak ocd shop and she is a decent woodworker makes good tutorials on diy jobs

1- I would use this laser to aid in some techno dancing on the job site, when that bass line drops cue the ryobi laser!

2- not familiar with this April gal, I’ll have to check her out.

Nice giveaway rego, there’s some guys here that could really use this!

1 – The only reason I have for a laser like that, would be hanging pictures and shelves since we are in the process of repainting the whole house.

2 – I follow April on YouTube, her voice would drive me nuts if I had to hear it everyday, however, I like her style of videos.  She does a great job of showing you the build process, and I really like how she will show her mistakes, and how she would have done some things different if she was to build the project again, with things are helpful.  And no, she does not do anything for me, not my type lol.

I really have no interest in her. I found her on youtube about 2 years or more when I was looking for barn door hardware. She can be painful to watch at times building something but you have to give her credit she makes it work.

KatoMember since Jan 2014

This thread reminded me that I have an AirGrip kit. It really does come in handy sometimes for hanging pictures or random stuff. My kit came with a magnetic parts tray, LED light, magnetic base for when you’re working with metal surfaces, and a spring-loaded arm that helps you hold trim or wood up while working.

You have the super duper model. This just came with the hanging plate for a rough surface.

Also the tight T-Shirt and her short-shorts help you forget how hard she is making things for herself at times.

Ok I haven’t watched but maybe one of her how to videos, I was looking for shop ideas and also found it interesting how she described getting her start. I realize I pretty much took it for granted having the tools and gaining the knowledge growing up around it, no big deal. So yeah, I see you’ve analyzed her situation fairly thoroughly ha

She’s cute and hangs out with tools, what else is there to know?

I’m going to let this go to Friday then I’ll pick a winner.

Nice job Regopit. That’s really cool dude!  I have had a subscription to her YouTube channel since she first came out. She does a decent job but I’ve got subscriptions to a lot of channels. I know she gets a lot of attention because she is cute, wears tight short stuff etc. but I feel bad for her. A lot of guys make some really BS commentary on her videos.  She has done some pretty cool projects and then she posts some cutesy stuff for home decorations. I figure if you go through the trouble of posting a video on YouTube, which is free for me to watch, I give a thumbs up and keep negative comments to myself. Also, I said she’s “cute”. She isn’t Kate Upton saving the world from hordes of Orcs. When Kate starts doing how to videos…..well guys……. You’ll never see me again.

Your so right CheisK. She has come a long way and along with the videos she has free plans and step by step on her web site. Your comment about what comments that people leave is dead on. I have left her a few positive comments. Hey she is taking time time to do it and if it can help someone why not give her the thumbs up.

Your right Chrisk, I too am a subscriber to her channel and I too have left her comments that she responded to also. She is part of a group of woodworkers that enjoy making YouTube videos. Which for me is a plus, plus! I don’t why as a wood guy you wouldn’t want to watch.

People have nothing better to do than to just post garbage to make themselves feel better about them. Comes down to kindergarten manners, if you don’t have something nice today shut the fluff up!!

krutonMember since Jun 2015

It’s really easy to post negative or inappropriate comments from the safety of your mom’s basement on a computer.

I’ll have to check her channel out. If her and Car Jacobsen did any collaborations I’d totally watch it. I love Carl Jacobsen in a totally hetero way.

Carl did a video with Darbin Ovar, she’s pretty cool, she does all types of projects.

ChrisKMember since Dec 2012

Yup, Darbon Ovars channel is pretty cool. That girl has some crazy talent! Seriously  though Regopit, that is a really sweet thing for you to do for the guys!

I’m sorry guys, but Mrs Wilkerson sounds not amused or flattered by the talk of her.

I would use it to help square up anything I need it to and use it install shelving that i plan on putting in my garage. I do follow April and I like the shop projects she does. Help to keep a clean, organized, efficient and safe shop!
