Made this stairs on site from some planed pine and a length of solid oak worktop.

Oh Yeah! Looks Great! I am trying to convince me lady to get rid of our carpeted stairs and go this route. It’s the only part of the whole house that has carpeting, and the carpet needs to be replaced like yesterday, cause it’s disgusting looking.

My favorite thing is that the rail stops short of the bottom, gives it a great look and allows you to shortcut the corner which I really like. Well done sir!
