Member Ranks

We also have member ranks that was set up a long time ago.  The forum has grown over the years and think it may need to be updated, but let me know your thoughts before I mess it up.  Here is the current ranking system.

Jr. Member    10        
Member    30        
Full Member    100        
Senior Member    250        
Tool Junkie    500

At 500, a member can change their title.  Personally I would like different names for ranks and instead of the dots, it would be cool to have a graphic, but just personal preference.  

We have some members who have a ton of posts.  Was thinking about changing when a member can edit their title such as after 1,500 or 2,000 posts, but let me know your thoughts.  Also would like to raise the threshold of the other titles.

Let me know your thoughts on thresholds and ranking names.  If you would rather have a cool little graphic instead of the dots, show me an example of what you want.

0-100 nicad

101-500 1.5ah battery

501-1000 4.0ah battery

1001-1500 5.ah battery (edit title)

1501-2000 battery charger

2001-2500 ???

Maybe wrenches instead of dots would be cool. The rank numbers seem fair to me.

I like the ranking system as it is now, but do like the idea of wrenches or some other tool instead of the dots.

Cool, thanks for the feedback.  I made the changes.  I added a couple more in there, but that is a surprise.

I will have Dan create new pips instead of the circles.

Would be nice if the wrenches in the TiA graphic replaced the dots, imo.
