Was watching some older TIA videos, one in the Dewalt DCL050,learned something about the loop on top…

Yes…..that’s how I hang them up. [emoji6]
DeWalt
Thats a good way of doing it. I alao like on my m18 lantern, there are two hooks on opposite sides, and can be pulled together to make a closed loop like you shown in the first pic. Maybe your m12 lantern is the same way

Oh thanks so much. I love my light so much more now.
Yeah it’s pretty handy. The Milwaukee LED stick light does something similar and pops out to make it easy to hook it on almost anything. It’s nice to have it retractable too because sometimes you don’t want it catching on stuff, especially when shoving it in a bag etc.
Yup that light is really nice how long have u had it for Jimbo?
Numbnuts!
You mean you didn’t RTFM?
🙂
See that Jimbo, who says those TIA videos are not informative? Shame on you! Not Jimbo! The other guy. 🙂

The newbie? didn’t even introduce himself properly lol
Comment didn’t make sense to me either I had to look up the text abbreviation, not very good with those, I guess I was born in the wrong generation…

Thats definitely on the list too, can never have enough lights.
I have had that happen to me on other things
when you find out it could do something you didn’t know about and then your just amazed
don’t you just hate that back in the 80’s bought a high end VHS machine and after 3 years figured out it has options I would have used from day one….lol and there was no google back then either a buddy had one or your learnt it all on your own..
Ran into a similar lightbulb moment with the DW0881 tripod. I didn’t realize you could tighten the legs when they’re not fully extended to have a more stabile base. When I finally saw this I thought to myself “I don’t even deserve this tool” lol
Does that light have a magnet on it anywhere?
Only if you want it to[emoji1]john92awd wrote:

Not me. The post was intended as a friendly dig, hence the smiley face.
In fairness, I think the hook/loop on my unit was slightly extended when I received it from reseller.
Recently discovered this forum. Have been avid follower over on ToolGuyd for a while.
Started out with a couple of 18v XR kits in UK and now pick up 20v Max or 18v XR bare units depending on US/UK pricing and availability. New planer in April is probably my next pick-up.
Beautiful guitar you have there Jimbo. Do you play much?

No offense taken man, this is a very friendly place!
Love my Dewalt tools but I’ve been into Milwaukee as of late.
